Celebrate Good Times
I’m in a celebratory mood. Not only am I on the verge of moving into a new house with my very own polish room (Yay!!!) but I’m also pleased to announce that All Lacquered Up has passed the 100,000 visitor mark. It seems so unreal that my little space on the web would get so much attention. I honestly didn’t expect many people outside of the Makeup Alley family to find me. But, I’m so happy you did. Thank you all for the support.
To commemorate the event I decided it was time to give All Lacquered Up a face lift. As I’m sure you all could tell, I am NOT a web designer so I turned to someone much more talented than I. After seeing Yummy411‘s new look I was inspired so, I contacted Zoe from Chic & Sassy Designs to create this fab template for me and I love it. I hope you all do too.
But that’s not the end of this little party. I can’t celebrate without all of you. So make sure you check back October 1st to see the details of an exciting new contest and giveaway.

I love the new look! It’s terrific. And your Peanuts card
The new template is so cute!
Congratulations on the 100 000! You thoroughly deserve it. Your blog remains my favourite. I subscribe through Bloglines and when checking for new posts I always leave yours (the best) for last! I absolutely love the new look. And Peanuts is so cute. Keep up the great work and … good luck with the move. N/P regards from South Africa where the Spring 2007 collections will be in stores soon.
Congratulations!! Along with MUA, you have become my resource for checking out new colors that I would otherwise never see in person. Now I can order online (or not), without worrying about getting the wrong color!
While my wallet may not thank you, I do!!
Keep up the great work!
Congratulations! I love the new look and although i am a new reader of your blog i’m enjoying it immensly. Thanks for all the great pics and info
Stefanie

Our hands are major focal points…especially for those of us who talk with our hands… and the women in my family have always been into colors…of course, I’m the adventurous one! There’s absolutely nothing better than knowing where to start looking for the tried and true…and the new good stuff! I’m waiting on UPS to deliver my “Frankie Joins the Navy” from Carolyn NY!!! I have to be the nay-sayer – I liked your old site better – but CONGRATS on the 100,000 – what an awesome achievement! I still love your blog and I just got my “Frankie Joins the Navy” and “Spanish Harlem” the other day and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them both! I never would have found them without you. THANKS!
Congrats on your success! I have to say however that I’m having a hard time navigating the new site and kind of miss the old one But I’m still happy to have the info and LOVE your blog! Thanks!
Thanks for the compliments everyone!
Cary’s Girl and Anon – if you could email me or comment about the issues you’re having I’d appreciate it. I think the site isn’t showing up well for users on XP using IE6.
If anyone else is experiencing issues with any of the features or design, please let me know.
Oh the new look is great! What will your polish room be like? I hope you post pics. As I am redoing my upstairs, I am contemplating a nail area in a dressing room. – sh3ll3y on mua
I love the blog.. I can’t even remember how I stumbled upon it, but I’m so glad I did. I’ve found a lot of polish that I wouldn’t have if it weren’t for you.. now if I could only figure out how to store it all!
Michelle – I’m still planning the room out but I’m planning to decorate the wall with vintage nail ads.
I”m still deciding on wall colors. I was thinking of doing each wall a different primary color and leaving the back wall (that you can see through the house) white. Or doing the main wall in a warm orange.
My other thought was to do two walls in a deep orange and the other two in a lightened version of the same shade.
Any thoughts? Suggestions?
congrats on all of the great things happening in your life!
