MAC & Hello Kitty Preview
 Unless you’re living under a beauty news rock, you’ve undoubtedly heard that MAC and Sanrio have teamed up to create one mega collection of Hello Kitty themed makeup and accessories for the little girl in all of us. As much as I went gaga over the Barbie collection a couple years ago, waiting in line at the crack of dawn for a doll and scooping up all the embossed shadows and blushes, I have a feeling that this one will be an even bigger hit.
I will admit, I was more of a Barbie girl than a Sanrio girl growing up but that doesn’t mean I’m not a complete sucker for great packaging and this collection looks to be delivering on that in a major way. And for the first time that I’ve seen, MAC has finally carried the decor onto the polish bottles. In a promo image I found on a foreign beauty blog, I got my first peek at the adorable Hello Kitty adorned lacquers. |

The MAC Hello Kitty collection will launch in stores on February 12th. The nail lacquers retail for $11/ea. You can sign up for an email alert to know when the collection launches on MAC’s website.

I do live under a beauty rock, so I hadn’t heard this news. I’ve never bought MAC but I have to have the Hello Kitty polish. I’m a huge, huge HK fan. I can’t wait to see these!
Yeah I’m gonna have to pass on these. Not too into Hello Kitty anymore since I hit a “certain age” LOL! I did however just get Varicose Violet from Dame Edna and that color is awesome!

I hate the packaging design, but I love the models used. I’m not sure if I will buy anything from the collection or not. I’ll be picking up stuff from the Blonde, Brunette and Redhead collection. I’d love to see Something about Pink swatched.
I would have had to get these if for no reason other than my being a big HK fan, so I’m really glad the colors look like something I would wear too! At least the grey and white anyway.
No reason that I can see to get any of these unless you are a huge HK fan. None of these colors look that special IMHO.

I’m definitely buying some of the HK Mac stuff, but I am a huge HK fan. (I’m 27 and I don’t care either!)
My daughter is 3 and loves HK, loves pink and love painting her nails, so I will be buying a bottle to make her happy
I love the packaging for this collection. I don’t even know what the makeup looks like for most of it, but I want one of everything. I’ve been looking forward to this collection since I first heard rumors of it last summer, but the package design has exceeded all of my expectation. It’s a perfect balance of chic and cute. Love it!
Not a HK fan at all, but i am a sanrio fan. I will definitely be picking up something, and i’ve been eying that “On the Prowl” n/p since the promos came out!

I’m getting On the Prowl since it’s different from the rest of NPs. As for the makeup, I plan to buy a lipstick and the cooler tone eyeshadow palette. I love all the packaging but I think those will be of the most use to me!
Umm, I’ve clearly been under a beauty rock. I will be buying EVERYTHING from this collection. It appeals to me in the same way Tarina Tarantino does. I am so damn excited, I signed up for the email and put a reminder in my calendar!
