Tropical Hand Care – Aruba Aloe
So while I’m stuck here in gross, cold Cleveland, my parents are off sunning themselves in Aruba. They get three weeks of wonderful and I get three weeks of frozen tundra. It’s been forever since I’ve seen the gorgeous Caribbean waters. So color me jealous. The only good thing about them leaving is that they’ll return with a bottle or two of aloe filled goodness to help soothe my winter-chapped hands.
The folks always bring me back goodies from the island and while it’s no substitute for a vacay of my own, it certainly helps kill the jealousy pangs. Last year, they were cruising the markets when my Dad happened upon a hand and body care line that he thought I and all of you should know about. Yes, he’s a supporter of the blog. Isn’t that cute?
Aruba Aloe Island Remedy Hand Lotion is a little tube of heaven. Seriously phenom. Chock full of 100% Aloe Vera Gel, grown right on the island, the lotion is moisturizing yet quick absorbing. You’re never left with greasy palms, leaving marks on everything you touch. And the scent is to DIE. Its soft fragrance is powdery and slightly botanical from the aloe. They also make an antibacterial version that I keep stashed in my desk to use after handling money.
In addition to the hand cream, Aruba Aloe has a whole line of face, body and hair products, including sun care and burn remedies. The Island Remedy Hand Lotion is 6 oz and retails for $19.95. You can purchase directly from ArubaAloe.com and receive FREE SHIPPING.
The website says that small boutiques & salons in the US carry their products. Has anyone ever tried Aruba Aloe? What did you think?
sounds great! i like that it sooths and moisturizes w/ out greasy hands! i work/ type w/ my hands all day and despise a greasy keyboard!
i also think it’s too cute that your dad’s such a fan! thanks, Mr. All Lacquered Up!!! If you’re reading this, I hope you are having/ have had a great time on your trip!
That’s a pretty fair price for such a product. Keeping your hands clean and moisturized is very important in the winter.
I have got to try this! Have you tried CND Hand & Body Lotion in Winterberry? It's AMAZING. Like, stupendous. Like, I'm in love.
def a fair price. could use a little of that Aruba aloe up here in Maine…
good productt.
Seasonal hand care should be an integral part of your beauty regime. Many of us conveniently neglect our hands resulting in dull chapped or calloused hand skin.
