Think Pink – Donate & Win Giveaway
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and as important as it is to raise awareness by promoting monthly self exams it’s also essential to support breast cancer research. That’s why I will be showing my support by raising funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. To assist me in my cause, I am asking for your help in two ways.
1. I will be participating in the the Beauty Blog Network’s Comments4ACure campaign for the 3rd straight year. Beginning October 21st through October 23rd every comment made on ALU will raise $1 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation up to a maximum of $150. It’s that simple. You comment, I donate.
2. Following up the success of last year’s Think Pink – Donate & Win Giveaway I’ve decided to do it again. Last year we raised $625 for a combined contribution of $775 for the BCRF. That’s amazing! This year I’d like to surpass that amount with a goal of $1000. Here’s how it works:

I think it takes time to update. I've heard that other girls using this widget have had the same issue. I see the donations on my ChipIn dashboard so they are going through. As long as you get your PayPal confirmation, you are set.

I want to thank you as well for doing this. Breast cancer became my big cause when I was 13; my aunt was diagnosed at Stage 4, and she spent the last year of her life fighting so hard.

Hi Michelle: Is there any way to donate to the "Think Pink" without using Pay Pal? I don't feel secure with pay Pal, regarding their last history and records being stolen and never recovered.

Breast cancer affects us all
I had breast cancer last year–my doctors told me 20 years ago I would have had an automatic masectomy, radiation, & chemotherapy. Thanks to the advances in research, my treatment consisted of only radiation & 5 years of tamaxofin.
Research is so impoetant in tretment of this horrible disease.
