Gallery Issues
I just wanted to post a quick note to let you know that the Gallery isn’t functioning properly at the moment and I’m working to have it resolved ASAP. So if the Gallery disappears temporarily or you aren’t able to navigate it properly, know that I’m working on a resolution. Sorry about the inconvenience, it’s all part of the fun of moving to a new blogging platform. Oh joy!
EDITED TO ADD – We’re back up and running, yay!!!
In case you haven’t visited the Gallery yet, here’s a preview with some navigational tips.
It’s quite all right if it takes some time to get it all working properly. It is worth the wait because I LOVE THE GALLERY! Thank you so much for taking the time to take and upload all those photos.
Unrelated question – what is your favorite big 3 free topcoat? I am a Seche Vite addict, but I just can’t feel OK about using it while pregnant when it has that scary warning on the back!
Thanks for your understanding and patience. This has been quite a process.
Let me look at my top coats and give you a good recommendation. Does it have to be quick drying or just wear well?
Probably quick dring. I can’t sit still long enough for my nails to dry otherwise. Thanks so much!
Check out Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat. It’s quick drying, inexpensive and free of DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde (including Form. Resin).
I’m a little late with this – but thank you so much for the recommendation. I’ll pick up a bottle on my next Target run!
Oh my that is just too fantastic! Going through my regular bout of nail trauma at the moment so have done a french manicure just to make them look less snarly and was thinking earlier this week “pah, nail varnish its no biggy” and then I looked at your gallery and I WANT some colour, couple of weeks of tlc for my flaky, stubby nails and I should have something worthy of slapping some colour on – got 2 fantastic l’oreal Resist and Shine colours recently a blackened purple and a blackened green that looks like a magpie feather, gorgeous! Well done on all the work on the blog, its fab and I missed you!
Michelle:
You have out done yourself, (if that is even possible to do). The “Gallery” function will take your web blog to a much higher level. I can’t believe the time it must have taken you to create this “Gallery” where did you ever find the time and inspiration to create it. Plus, I have never seen some of theses color and shades before and I thought I kept up-to-date with your web blog. I guess I didn’t.
Also, on a personal note, do you happen to know what nail polish color Heidi Klum was wearing during “Fashion Week” on the finale of Bravo’s Project Runway? I wanted to make my final review, create my own “Gallery of Woman Fashion Designers Collections” for my web blog and was dazzled at what Heidi had on her nails. Michelle, they look gorgeous! Heidi always wears the most fashionable clothing, I loved her red outfit but her nails sparkled so amazingly.
Finally, a plug for your signature collection “Shades,” that you helped create. I just love it, and so happy I treated myself to buying all twelve colors. I love to “play” with your color choices and even as a guy these nail colors are just amazing.
What other “goodies” do you have planned for your loving and devoted fans. I love the article on trans gender foot less nylons for pedicures? LOL You have the best of the best Michelle.
(((((Love Michelle)))))

I remember trying your mixed gradient thumb-pinky tut, however when I clicked “search” for “gradient” there were no results so I can’t find the post to comment on. Wanted to say that Jen at http://www.frmheadtotoe.com/2009/02/sparkle-gradient-nail-tutorial.html has a tutorial using multiple layers of glitter, and I tried it with multiple layers of let’s do it in 3 d by china glaze, with a layer of wet’n wild kaliedescope over the top, and it looked pretty neat.
Thanks for the link, her version looks great. I have another method I’m going to try and post soon. Be on the lookout
Oh and I plan to change the search feature. The one that comes with WordPress pretty much sucks. Though if you search for “gradation” instead of “gradient” the post should pull up.
