Today we’re checking out my pal Amber’s Mannequin Hands. In my best Amber speak… if you’re not involved in Amber’s blog, Beauty Blogging Junkie, I don’t WHAT you’re doing with your time. Amber doesn’t speak MAC because she’s a NARS girl. NARS Sheer Glow in Fiji to be exact. This is what Amber has to say about her polish pick, CND putty,
“I have been looking for MONTHS for my exact flesh tone lacquer and kept overestimating my Cullen levels of pallor. I mentioned that I could NOT for the life of me find a match when my boss (Rachel Hayes at Daily Makeover) plucked this CND bottle off her desk and goes, this one’s your exact match. And she was 100% right. It looks like an extension of my fingertips. I love that elongates my fingers with a little extra glossiness. And CND polishes always last a week for me, if I pair it with my favorite Priti topcoat.”

Without intending to cause any offence to people who have gone to the trouble of sending in pics (sorry ladies!) the photos of mannequin hands really do underline what a fantastic job you do when you photo your nail swatches Michelle, I have tried to photograph my own nails and it really isn’t easy to get something even passable, let alone pin sharp like yours!
I just recently (within the last month) started growing my nails out after many many years of biting. I love nude lips, so I went searching for a nude nail color too. Today I bought OPI Coney Island Cotton Candy, and CND Putty. With like 3 coats of putty, I am in love. For anyone wondering I am a MAC NC 15 to 20 just depends. I can also wear Revlon Colorstay buff to give you a color idea. Side by side putty is definately more flesh toned than CCIC, it leans more peach pink.
