Chanel Les Khakis De Chanel Preview
Ever since UK nail queen Sophy Robson posted a sneak peek at the CHANEL Les Khakis De Chanel collection colors, I’ve been DYING to get some sort of official word regarding their launch. What Sophy originally dubbed the “camouflage collection” is a set of three military shades debuting as a limited edition launch for Fashion’s Night Out on September 10th!
Visit the Chanel Boutique on Spring Street to get a complimentary manicure with one of the Les Khakis De Chanel shades or stop by the Madison Avenue boutique which will be selling the collection as well.
In celebration of Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out, Peter Philips, Global Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup, has created LES KHAKIS DE CHANEL, a collection of three Le Vernis Nail Colours. Ultra sophisticated shades Khaki Rose, Khaki Brun and Khaki Vert can be worn alone or combined for an urban chic camouflage effect.
The Les Khakis De Chanel collection launches on September 10th, 2010. It will be available at CHANEL boutiques, CHANEL.com and select department stores for $25.00/bottle.
You KNOW I’m all over Khaki Vert but I’m excited to see how they’ll look paired together. I’m already thinking up some fun way to wear all three while I’m in NYC for FNO. Which colors are you excited to see? Will any of my NYC Fanatics be out and about for FNO? Do you think these colors will get the same attention as last year’s FNO color Jade?

Intriguing. Can’t wait to see if they’re all dupes or unique. It’s way too hard to tell from a promo pic. Khaki Vert looks like it could resemble Essie Sew Psyched from the fall collection.

The info I posted came directly from Chanel PR. I’m not sure what select department stores means so I’ve asked for clarification and will post when I hear back. Now I can’t comment on International ordering but according to Chanel in the US the colors will be available online in the States.
I’m not really excited about any of the colors… but I’ll see when the swatches come out

Thanks for informing us of these. The first I’ve heard of this Chanel polish collection. I’m excited for Khaki Vert! I love army green nail shades. I don’t think any of the colours will get the attention that Jade did. Jade is such a special colour on the nail, in my opinion

What about RBL Diddy Mow or one of the other RBL greens maybe? Khaki Vert seems like its somewhere between Diddy Mow and No More War. I think Sew Psyched is a bit lighter and doesn’t have as much brown to it as Khaki Vert. However Chanel promo pics like this are usually really different from the actual polish. To me Paradoxal ended up looking nothing like its promo pic suggested although it is a tough shade to capture so who knows what these will turn out like? I still love Paradoxal. It just wasn’t what I expected.
These are definitely wait and see the swatches first for me. I seldom pass up a Chanel, but I won’t be buying these until I see swatches of what they actually look like. I’m dying to see how these turn out! I love a green!

Love the Khaki Vert!! I would lovvvve to go to FNO in NYC but I’m not. I’m also from Cleveland, and the closest FNO event for me is at Saks in Beachwood!
