Comments For A Cure 2010 Starts TODAY
As a woman, a daughter and a friend I am taking a stand for Breast Cancer Awareness by supporting Living Beyond Breast Cancer with my annual Comments For A Cure campaign.
Comments For A Cure started out in 2007 as a grassroots effort to support a fellow Beauty Blog Network member who was diagnosed with cancer. I have taken it upon myself to continue supporting the cause here on ALU.
All Lacquered Up’s Comments For A Cure campaign launches TODAY, October 20th, 2010.
Please join me in the fight against breast cancer by leaving a comment on any post on All Lacquered Up today through Friday, October 22nd. Every comment will raise $1 for Living Beyond Breast Cancer up to a maximum of $150. That’s right, you leave a comment, I donate. What could be easier?
Also, don’t forget about all the amazing prizes you could win in the Think Pink – Donate & Win Giveaway. I’m so amazed by the immense generosity of the ALU community as we’ve already raised over $1400!! That’s almost DOUBLE last year’s donation. Thank you all for your continued support. I love you all!
Great!!!

Thanks again for doing this, power in numbers!
Supporting this. So wonderful to see that more and more people care and join together for a good cause. Hugs, Michelle.

Hi, I am reading your blog for a while, and not sure, but never commented. And now there is a very good reason to do that. I am in Brazil, and here we do not have such thing, who knows some day.
Kisses

As a young survivor, I want to thank you for supporting LBBC, it’s a great organization. I’m going to one of their conferences next month and I’m really looking forward to it.
Michelle, I’ve been following ALU for a couple months now and I am a full blown fanatic! I’ve bought at least 1 polish a week (and often 3 or 4) since I found your blog. I can’t stop! Thanks so much for your insight, swatches and charming posts.
This is my first post and what better way to say, “You Go Girl!” Your support for Breast Cancer Awareness let’s me know how much more fabulous you are!
Random fact; This October 2010 has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays… Something that only happens once every 823 years! So with that, Happy BCA month!
ah, the true meaning of charity. how lovely of you. don’t forget to examine yourselves!
It doesn’t get any simpler than this!
Yay comment…. Today I went to Ross and bought 3 Color Club collection boxes for a total of 27 bucks! That is 21 polishes! Thanks to ALU for getting me started on this obsession!
This is post has been the most satisfying for me so far. And that’s a serious statement, because I love looking at nail polish swatches.
What an amazing and charitable thing to do. Good for you!
Very good idea. It’s really great what you’re doing. I’m french and in France we don’t support this cause like people do in the USA. That’s a pity !
Thank you for doing this!
You’re an amazing and generous woman

Awesome!
*Hugs* My mom, grandma and aunt all had breast cancer and survived. I am pretty sure I’ll be next!
You’re awesome! THX!!
So glad to be a part of this; my mother’s close friend has had her breast cancer re-diagnosed and they’re not expecting her to live through this year so this is hitting rather close to home…
You are wonderful, thank you!
Great idea, I hope this helps!
I finally got my Paypal to work just to help you out. Good job!
I’ve been a shadow reader for about two weeks, that’s when I discovered this wonderful site! ?
It’s a beautiful cause to support.

This is a great way to raise money for Breast Cancer. My mom is a survivor, so thank you so much for this! You rock!!!
I think it’s great that you are doing this!
What an absolutely wonderful idea. I donated by sponsoring my brother in his run earlier this month. I have also been doing all pink mani’s this month. Five down and two or three more to go
What an awesome fund raiser. I posted this link on my FB wall, as well as a few fan pages that I follow. I’m sure you’ll reach your $150 donation in no time! Thanks for letting us be a part of it. xo
What a great thing to do. Thank you.
This is wonderful! This is for my Aunts and Grandmother who survived and my girlfriend who was diagnosed in February 2010, had surgery and treatment and now back at work full-time. She was one of the fortunate one ones who even she keep up with all her yearly mammographies to the date and as small as it was, it was still in Stage 2 but prognosis is excellent for full recovery. Now even though my mammography came back normal, my physician wants me to have a diagnostic because of density in one breast. So this really hits close to home! Thanks so much!
Glad I can Help!
I am a long time lurker and have never posted before but this is so awesome that I have to comment. Thank you for doing this.
