Monet In Nail Polish – 5000+ Bottles Recreate Water Lilies
The nail polish section of your local Sally Beauty store is about to get a makeover. The Nail Studio, a wall of 750 bottles of nail polish and 150 nail art tools and colors, will begin rolling out to stores across the country this winter.
To celebrate, Sally Beauty teamed up with the Dallas Art Museum to recreate the Monet Water Lilies that hangs in the museum. Over 5,500 bottles of nail polish were strategically placed to create the piece and it looks so cool I just had to share!

That’s amazing!
I agree, Lisa
Wow!!! Awesome idea!!!
Wow!! This is so neat and fun!!
Now that the bottles have no labels they should give them away to us once they take the display down lol. Wishful thinking lol.
Amazing!
that is so cool. I live in Dallas, I will definitely check this out
Two of my favorite things…nail polish…and art!
It would be interesting to know which brands of nail polish they used to recreate the painting. It looks like they used several different ones
I have wanted to paint that on my nails for at least 20 years. I used to paint tiny scenes on my nails when I was in cosmetology school back then, but I never thought I could do that painting justice with my non-dominant hand. Now I will try anything with both hands. LOL…Nail art has come a LONG way since I started doing it back in the 80′s.
That recreation sure is beautiful!
How cool is that?? I dont go to sallys all that often. But with a new nail studio coming, im going to want to take a trip there for sure.
Truly gorgeous!
So we can go to the Dallas Museum of Art to see the nail polish version, and how long will it be on display?
Gotta love a little Mo-nail polish! (And gotta groan at that pun…Sorry, I had to!)
Amazing was exactly the word I was going to use!
Wow. Wow! I happen to be traveling to Dallas next week for work. I wonder if I have the nerve to suggest a museum visit to my boss…
That is very pretty and creative.
This is so clever and creative!
