Our spring nail color #NailGlossip chat has me dreaming of warm weather and the END OF SNOW! I can not bring myself to tuck jeans into one more boot, or pile on so many layers that I resemble the Michelin Man. Over it.
To get myself in the mood, I’ve been shopping the ShopBop Sale for spring accessories to pair with my favorite nail color trends of the season. I can’t help it, I love accessories because they always fit! No matter what size I am today, I never have to worry about whether I can squeeze into a handbag or pair of sunglasses. Plus, it’s such an easy way for me to inject color into my wardrobe and I really enjoy finding pieces that match my nails.

I’m on a mission, you guys, and I need your help! It all started during a recent #NailGlossip chat (next one is March 1st!), when I mentioned how much I love China Glaze Glass Fleck polishes and lamented that they haven’t made any in a while. That’s when #BringBackGlassFleck was born. And it’s popped up in my social media posts a few times since.
Fast forward to last Sunday. We hosted a China Glaze-focused chat and me and my one-track mind brought up my crusade for more glass flecks. A browned wine shade, Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2015 is Marsala. It’s so 90s, like Brenda Walsh’s lipstick on 90210. And given that we have similar coloring, I wore the heck out of it myself. In fact, I recently discovered an old tube of Estee Lauder marsala-colored lipstick at the bottom of backpack purse, buried in a trunk with some things from college. Yes, I said backpack purse. It was green suede and I wore it everywhere!
