It’s another reader request on CND Monday. A fellow Fanatic requested to see a look featuring Crimson Sparkle and I’m here to oblige. Up until now I had played with all the sparkles except Crimson so I was happy to have a reason to pull it out. Rather than layer it over a complementary color, like green, I decided to keep it in the same family selecting Bloodline as my base. Check out how well they play together after the jump! |

CND Monday – Muddy Rose Colour & Raspberry Sparkle Effect

When I first saw the Colour & Effects line I naturally gravitated towards the primary and secondary hues. You know, “me” colors. It wasn’t until I had some time to play with the line at home that I’ve begun discover all this line has to offer. Muddy Rose is one of those discoveries. I’ve been on a mauve kick for fall ever since I saw the Reem Acra dress that inspired Get Mauve-ing from the Barielle All Lacquered Up collection. Now I’m on a full fledged dusty pink/rose/purple spree and Muddy Rose fits the bill. See it on its own and paired with Raspberry Sparkle after the jump! |
New Features on the CND Website & A Giveaway
Have you visited the CND website since Colour & Effects launched? If you haven’t you’re missing out. Here’s what’s new…
You’ll find links to Jan Arnold’s Fashion Week Blog filled with tons of videos and posts about her experience at NYFW (there’s even a bit about me on Day 3) and to the CND Nail Style Competition. Pro nail artists get a chance to go backstage with CND and see the nail magic happen up close and personal. Having been there, I can say it’s an amazing experience.
And on the Colour & Effects landing page there’s a Colour Comparison Chart helping you to discover dupes to beloved CND shades in the new line.
Last but certainly not least… CND is giving away 1,500 winners the chance to try a bottle of CND Colour. All you have to do is answer a short survey though, unfortunately for our international friends, it’s open to US Residents only.

CND Monday – Raisin in the Sun Colour & Gold Shimmer Effect

I have to give in and admit that it is officially Fall. That the cold and gloom are here to stay in the old Cleveburg. I wouldn’t mind so much if we actually had a lovely long fall but I fear the white stuff (shh, don’t say its name) is looming in the distance. For now, I will embrace the thought of warm cider, pumpkin everything and cozy sweater weather. The leaves on my trees are starting to turn and that inspired me to test drive a warm autumnal shade for CND Monday, Raisin in the Sun. I glitzed it out with a layer of Gold Shimmer which resulted in a surprising result. Take a peek after the jump! |
