ALU’s 365 of Untrieds – Hard Candy Mr. Wrong
365 of Untrieds is my personal challenge to weed through the polishes in the ALU stash that I’ve been wanting to try but just haven’t gotten around to.
When I first heard that the Hard Candy line was re-launching at WalMart I was excited about the possibility of some beloved vintage shades coming back. However, the line felt like it was geared to a much younger age range so I didn’t seek it out and it pretty much was put on the back burner. Then my friend Steph commented on yesterday’s post that I should try Hard Candy Mr. Wrong and I was all, “HARD CANDY!! How did I forget?” Seriously, I’ve had Mr. Wrong sitting in my stash for a year and a half still sealed in the plastic wrapper. |
Hard Candy Nail Polish Making A Triumphant Return
 Last Friday word broke via WWD that cult cosmetics brand Hard Candy is being revamped for the masses to be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart. The first question that popped into my mind… what about the nail polish? Will the brand that brought us such unique shades as Trailer Trash, Sky and green lovers fave Sell Out stay true to its roots and keep polish in the lineup? The answer… a resounding YES!
Now I’m not the biggest Wal-Mart fan. I’m more of a Target girl. But will I run like a mad woman to my local Wal-Mart the day these beauties go on sale? Heck yeah!! When you see the full color range, you’ll be there too. I’ve got a sneak preview after the jump! |
The first thing you’ll notice about the new Hard Candy Just Nails line is the bottle design. They didn’t leave out their signature oversized rings around the neck but the shape and cap are different. Of course the first thing I noticed… green! Like I had to tell you that. Of course it’s not Sell Out green, a shade I still regret not owning, but it looks mossy and fun. The glitters and that bright blue also caught my eye.

The best part… the price!! The polishes will retail for $5/ea. Talk about a deal. Look for the entire Hard Candy line to appear at a Wal-Mart near you beginning the 3rd week of September.
