I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve been an Olympics-watching junkie this past week. I’ve been taping the live day coverage and watching the night coverage as well. I can’t get enough. And tonight is the start of my favorite event of the Winter Games, Ladies Figure Skating.

Deborah Lippmann Spring 2014 – Spring Reveries Swatches & Review
I can’t help it, whenever I see floral-inspired shades in spring, I think of Meryl Streep’s deadpan delivery of, “Florals for spring, ground breaking,” from The Devil Wears Prada. Of course, there’s a reason florals come back in vogue so often. Spring is a time of renewal, growth and Deborah Lippmann certainly brought that energy and vision to her Spring Reveries collection.

China Glaze Crinkled Chrome Texture Nail Polish Swatches & Review
The China Glaze Crinkled Chrome collection makes me think of those 80′s Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup commercials. “You got your texture in my chrome! You got your chrome in my texture!”
Essentially, China Glaze has engaged their feather, texture and chrome finish nail polishes in a ménage à trois to create Crinkled Chrome. It’s a bit funky, a bit futuristic and unlike anything any other brand is doing in the texture game.
