Sephora by OPI Looks Like Rain, Dear & Midnight Mambo
![]() I am a religious Chelsea Lately watcher and I adore her on the show but her stand up was a REAL disappointment. As Chelsea would say, “It’s not great!” Her behavior was so manic you would think she was having an episode on stage. Like to the point that I was worried about her. And her act was so old that I remembered some parts from her 2007 Comedy Central Presents show. Time for some new material Chelsea. Anywho, I wanted a blingy manicure for the weekend and two of the Sephora by OPI polishes I purchased during the Friends & Family sale called out to me. A reader suggested that I try Looks Like Rain, Dear but Midnight Mambo looked really pretty as well so I decided to combine them into a multi-colored mani. |
Chanel Riva from the Côte D’Azur Collection – Swatch, Review & Comparison
![]() Would this be another sellout hit like its pale polish predecessors, Jade and Nouvelle Vague? Will it include that stunning Chanel subtle shimmer? More importantly, will it have that “it” factor that makes certain Chanel polishes highly coveted and quickly copied (ie Khakis, Paradoxal, Jade)? Read on to find out! |
China Glaze Holiday 2010 – Blue & Greens Swatches, Review & Comparisons
![]() Unlike the past few years where they’ve released just a few holiday shades, for Holiday 2010 the ‘Tis The Season to be naugty and nice collection consists of 16 nail polishes. That’s right, SIXTEEN! To make it easier to take in, I’ve broken down the collection into its three main color families; Blue & Green, White, Silver & Gold and Red & Vampy. We’ll start with my obvious favorite the lone blue (Little Drummer Boy), three greens (Jolly Holly, Mistletoe Kisses, Peace On Earth) and the multi-colored glitter bomb (Party Hearty). |
Get The Nail Look – Lea Michele at the 62nd Annual Emmy Awards
![]() Lea’s glam squad was comprised of Makeup Artist Melanie Inglessis for NARS, Hair Stylist Mark Townsend for Dove and Manicurist Deborah Lippmann. Melanie Inglessis used NARS new Pure Matte Lipstick in Tashkent and while I was leery about the whole matte lip trend taking us back to 90s, it looks beautiful on Lea. Pairing dramatic winged eye liner with nude lips and full, tousled hair, Lea’s nails were painted a deep, dark hue to match her dress. Can you guess what polish Deborah used? |
