One of the things I always look forward to when the holiday collections come out are the gift sets. Whether it is sets of minis or a selection of colors paired with a fun gift item, I always get suckered in.
If a set includes a bag, a cute stuffed animal, a holiday themed tool, etc. you can pretty much bet I’m all over it. The Orly ‘Tis The Season gift set is no exception. Last year when NARS released its Vintage Nail Polish Collection you could probably hear my heart breaking for nail fanatics around the world. Where was Zulu? What about Mash and Midnight Express? Was I the only one with a fondness for Ziggy and Platoon?
Well I’m happy to see that in the NARS Vintage Nail Polish Collection 2010 they brought back three beloved shades and two I was previously unfamiliar with, King Kong and Full Metal Jacket. The question is, how do the re-releases stack up against their former incarnations? |
ALU NYFW NOTD Challenge – Day 3
The days are getting longer people and I’m in serious need of sleep but I’m powering through New York Fashion Week like a champ. Even though my feet want to go on strike, the humidity is having its way with my hair and I can’t seem to remember what day it is, I’m having an absolute blast. I figure I can sleep when I get home so I may as well make the most of my time here and I’ve been doing just that.
Saturday was Day 3 of my NYFW experience and I was feeling the need to keep my green streak going. After rocking RBL Anne and Chanel Khaki Vert it was time for something dark and creamy. MAC Nail Trend F/W 10 Comparisons
MAC Nail Trend F/W 10 officially launches today at MAC counters nationwide. The polishes went up on the MAC website Tuesday and surprisingly they have not sold out. Perhaps due to the craze over Fabulous Felines.
