Priti Powderpuff Cactus & A Discovery

priti-powder-puff-cactus-bottle Last week I posted about Priti’s Tulip Tree Teal and since it was a new-to-me brand, I did my usual 5-Day Wear Test.  Being that I had Priti’s own base and top coat on hand, I decided to give those a whirl as well.  A lot of brands claim that their polishes work best when combined with their own treatment products so I wanted to put that theory to the test.  I chose Powderpuff Cactus for my trial run.

Also, thanks to all you investigative Fanatics, especially Flinty from Polish or Perish, I also discovered something new about Priti’s product line.  Find out what and see how Powderpuff Cactus fared in my wear test, after the jump!

china-glaze-up-and-away-collection-spring-2010 Sorry for the delay Fanatics! Mother Nature has not been playing nice. The lighting here in the Cleveburg has been atrocious so I’ve been waiting with bated breath to swatch the rest of this collection.

Though over the past few days, I’ve had plenty of time to stare at the polishes all lined up and they keep making me crave ice cream regardless of the freezing cold temperatures.  It’s like looking in the Baskin Robbins case trying to decide between a soft, sweet sherbet or multi-colored scoop of Superman.  Yum!!

Today I have the blues, greens and cheese-stands-alone peach for you.  Check out their deliciousness after the jump!

RGB-Minty-Holiday-9-bottle The mint green polish train isn’t slowing, are you still on board? I know I am! Give me more, give me more!! RGB Cosmetics announced their holiday offering, Minty, today on their Twitter account which makes it a great time for me to introduce it to you.If you recall, when I reviewed RGB’s Fall collection I was a bit let down by the lack of uniqueness as compared to the Pre-Fall colors.  Well Minty certainly piqued my interest.  As if a green exciting me is news, what really gets me is that I have yet to find any true dupes among the ones I own.  You won’t find me complaining about that.  Check out Minty along with its closest living polish relatives, after the jump!

Get The Look – Lauren Conrad’s Spring Green Nails

lauren-conrad-lo-bosworth-teal-nails-jenna-hipp A few weeks back, Fanatic Amelia contacted me asking about the nail polish Lauren “LC” Conrad was wearing at an event.  I couldn’t help but notice the bright teal tone popping against  her outfit and had to know for myself what color it was.  I certainly had some guesses in regards to similar shades but I love putting my sleuthing hat on to track down a color.

Thanks to Lauren’s makeup artist, Amy Nadine, I found out that my fave Celebrity Green Manicurist, Jenna Hipp, was responsible for her standout manicure.  Jenna tended to Lauren’s digits for a Seventeen Magazine cover shoot and used a brand new shade that’s launching this Spring.  Check it out along with backstage shots from Jenna, after the jump!
