Bobbi Brown “Old Hollywood” Nail Polish for Holiday 2013
Bobbi Brown is giving us old school glam with her Holiday 2013 “Old Hollywood” collection. As I’ve said before, this season’s nail polish trends are going the more traditional route with metallics and reds dominating the scene.
Clearly Bobbi got the memo and then some as she’s giving us holographic glitter realness with her new shade, Chrome. Who ever thought you’d see the words Bobbi Brown and holographic glitter in the same sentence? I mean, what??

China Glaze Crinkled Chrome Texture Nail Polish Swatches & Review
The China Glaze Crinkled Chrome collection makes me think of those 80′s Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup commercials. “You got your texture in my chrome! You got your chrome in my texture!”
Essentially, China Glaze has engaged their feather, texture and chrome finish nail polishes in a ménage à trois to create Crinkled Chrome. It’s a bit funky, a bit futuristic and unlike anything any other brand is doing in the texture game.

Urban Decay Holiday 2013 – Blackheart and Zodiac Nail Polish
I really have to applaud Urban Decay’s current approach to nail polish. When they relaunched the nail line, they decided on a less is more concept. Instead of overwhelming us with color, they are only releasing two shades per season and it’s really working well. I would much rather have two knockout, well-made polishes than a large collection that includes a few unique shades and a lot of dupes or recycled colors.
Just as I was head over heels for the Urban Decay Fall 2013 nail polish shades, the Urban Decay Holiday 2013 nail polishes have captured my heart as well. Like I seriously never want to take off Zodiac. Which is saying a lot!

OPI Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 Liquid Sand Swatches and Review
As part of their bigger-than-ever holiday collection, OPI Mariah Carey Holiday includes six new Liquid Sand colors. Unlike the Liquid Sand’s that were part of the first Mariah Carey collection, these shades are more refined. No star glitter or giant chunky sequins to be found. I like the direction OPI has taken with Liquid Sand and the way they have evolved it over the past year. These shades are more in line with my PixieDust-loving self.
