China Glaze Up & Away Swatches, Review & Comparisons – Part 1
I don’t know about you but after this train wreck of a year, I could use some mood lifters to kick off 2010 and the Up & Away collection from China Glaze fits the bill.
I try to keep ALU positive so I haven’t really shared the disaster that was 2009 for me. Professionally it’s been a dream year, personally a train wreck. I really won’t get into the deets but can we all hope for a happy 2010?? I’m gearing up wearing the fun, uplifting shades from Up & Away, a collection of creamy pastels and bright pops of color. I’m breaking the collection up into three parts so I can show you color comparisons for each shade. With 12 colors, that would be one LONG post so I broke it up to make it easier to digest. Illamasqua Boo! Pantomime Nail Duo Swatches & Review
Happy Anniversary Illamasqua! What a year it’s been for them. The brand went from “How do you pronounce that?” to “MAC better watch out!” To celebrate, Illamasqua is releasing the Boo! & Hiss Pantomime Nail Duos. Two Limited Edition nail polish sets pairing an existing lacquer with a new LE glitter to layer on top.

China Glaze Wizard of Ooh Ahz Swatches, Comparisons & Review
The highly anticipated Wizard of Ooh Ahz collection is finally here. After a lot of nail board begging, petitions and pleas the people at China Glaze listened and brought back the famed 2001 collection including the much talked about but rarely seen Dorothy Who?, Good Witch? and C-C-Courage.I’ve been fortunate to have owned, or seen in person, all the original WOOA polishes but most have not been as lucky, even the people AT China Glaze. Thanks to the help of original WOOA owners, like myself, the brand attempted to re-create the collection and they’ve come pretty close for what they had to work with. OPI Holiday Wishes Collection Swatches & Review
 Is it just me or does OPI reserve their most interesting nail polish shades for the holiday season? 2003′s Holiday On Broadway brought us the beloved La Boheme. 2006′s Kick Up Your Heels collection included a slew of home run hitters. I Get A Kick Out of Gold and Opening Night Champagne are still faves of both my mom and I and we RARELY agree. Not to mention the range of winners from Holiday In Toyland and Holiday in Hollywood. On that note, this year’s Holiday Wishes collection is doing its predecessors proud.
I was happy to see a nod to the “flakies” trend in this collection. Flakies, a nickname for irregularly shaped glitter particles, have been popular in the nail fanatic community for some time now.
