As I shared with you after my Fall & Holiday Nail Trend presentation at Nordstrom’s Pretty Party, one of the big trends for holiday is metallics along with classic creamy reds. MAC has certainly embraced this trend with their Holiday 2013 nail polish offerings.
The MAC Divine Night collection includes two metallics (one being matte) and the RiRi Hearts MAC Holiday collection has one rich red in Rhianna’s signature color, RiRi Woo. I included one of the MAC Indulge shades as well since it’s still available and works so well for holiday.

Fall 2013 Nail Trends at Saks Fifth Avenue Beachwood
Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of hosting an event at Saks Fifth Avenue Beachwood. The focus was Fall 2013 Nail Trends and I had a blast. I loved meeting other Cleveland nail polish fanatics and talking fall nail color. To the readers and fellow bloggers who came out from behind the screen to say hi, thank you for coming. It was wonderful putting a face with a name.
Fall 2013 Nails Trends at Saks Fifth Avenue Beachwood
We enjoyed bubbles, ridiculously good nail polish-shaped cookies from Bon Bon, hand and arm massages from Jo Malone and nail polish changes from local manicurists.
On top of that, I put together a nail trend display featuring nail colors sold at Saks. You may not normally think Saks when shopping for nail polish but, they have all the familiar prestige and luxury brands plus some you don’t normally see, like Tom Ford, Armani and Le Metier de Beaute.

Laura Mercier Fall 2013 Dark Spell Collection Nail Polish Swatches & Review
I don’t know if I just wasn’t paying attention, or what, but I never really noticed Laura Mercier nail polish before. It wasn’t until I was touring the beauty department at my local Saks (for the event I’m hosting this weekend) that I noticed a heart-stopping green from the brand.
