As I’ve come to tell you, multiple times, over the years, red nail polish and I just aren’t friends. I guess we’re more like frenemies in that I’ll wear it but it’s not like my BFF who I want to hang out with all the time. However, the boyfriend LOVES red and hey, it’s not all about me (just mainly about me). And there are some red shades that suck me in.

Talking Fall and Holiday Nail Trends at Nordstrom’s Pretty Party
On a brisk Saturday morning, 200 beauty-loving women gathered at Nordstrom in Beachwood Place to Wake Up Pretty with me. A slew of beauty gurus spoke about trends in makeup, skin and nails for Fall and Holiday 2013 and I was thrilled to be one of them.

Top Ten Tuesday: My Favorite Makeup Palettes
Some of my beauty blogging buddies started a group to share their Top Ten products on a regular basis and I decided to join in on the fun. The first topic is Top Ten Palettes which is so up my alley.
As much as I love makeup, pairing eye shadows is not my forte. I have a ton of single shadows in my arsenal but, more often than not, I gravitate towards palettes for my eye looks. I like that someone took the guesswork out of it for me and over the years I’ve amassed quite a selection of palettes.
