Check Out Glamour’s 30 Day Makeover
The folks over at Glamour Magazine are on a mission to help you look and feel better while giving you a chance to win great prizes with their 30 Day Makeover.
Look and Feel Great in Just One Month
A head-to-toe makeover just got super easy—simply try one new tip daily. After 30 days, you’ll have glossier hair, prettier skin, a flatter stomach and lots more energy. What could be bad?
Step 1: Log on to glamour.com daily to see your next tip. Then give it a try!
Step 2: Did the tip? Yay! Check it off your list. Visit the “Comments” section to swap ideas with other program users, get their advice on a tip or share your own thoughts. You can rate the tip too, and e-mail favorite ones to friends. There’s even a place to keep private notes—say, a to-do list or thoughts on something else you’d like to try. Each time you check off a tip or mark a favorite, you’ll be entered to win a spa getaway at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, including treatments from Equinox Solstice, or a treadmill from Life Fitness.
When you sign up for the Look and feel great in Just One Month plan, you’re automatically entered to win a spa getaway at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles, including treatments from Equinox Solstice, courtesy of Spa-Addicts.com, or a treadmill from Life Fitness. Plus, each time you mark a favorite tip or log your progress, you’ll get an extra chance to win!
I signed up and so far I’m loving the tips. They are useful, practical changes that you can easily make to improve your overall look. Things as simple as practicing better posture; something I need desperately. And what makeover would be complete without tips on how to give yourself a fab at home pedi (Day 29). Now scoot on over there and sign up!
I’m Back!!!
*peeks out from internet-less cave* Hi everyone!! Did you miss me? I missed you. The last week and a half has been stressful and crazy but things are finally getting back to normal. I’m learning that wiring in an older home causes major headaches. Who thinks to check every phone jack to make sure they function? Cross your fingers that after our 2nd visit from the Time Warner man today, we will have fully functioning cable, internet and phone.
I was away this past weekend to be in an usher in my buddy’s wedding. I had a most excellent time but of course I was on the nail prowl; checking out everyone’s manis and pedis. I’ll be sharing the disturbing faux paux I witnessed in my Nail Tip Of The Week.
Other upcoming posts include:
- Review of Essie’s Winter collection.
- Spring 2008 Fashion Week Wrap Up with CND’s Roxanne Valinoti
- Review of MAC’s Antiquitease lacquers
- Some new NOTD pics
- Nails for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
- Review of nubar’s fall collection and holiday gift sets
Stay tuned for all that and much more.
